Kaylie Wilson – Market Swine SAE
This National FFA lesson plan, “Market Swine SAE,” uses the story of student Kaylie Wilson’s market swine SAE to teach students about the benefits, challenges, tools, and resources of raising swine for show and food. Through two worksheets, students explore swine production and compare the careers of veterinary nursing and registered nursing, connecting animal care experience to future career paths.

- Learn to step out of your comfort zone and start a new SAE raising market swine for show and food purposes. Kaylie's SAE has taught her how to care for other living creatures and will help her with her future career as a nurse.
