Kent Sloan – Clams

A student worksheet set on specialty animal (seafood) production focused on clams and other bivalves. Part one (“Keep Clam”) has students watch a video about Kent Sloan’s seafood SAE and answer questions about his responsibilities and clam grading; the second section (“Dig Into Clams”) uses an FAO website to label clam external and internal anatomy and the developmental stages of a scallop, and to consider applications in agriculture careers.
