Kent Sloan – Clams SAE
This FFA lesson plan, “Clams,” follows a student’s supervised agricultural experience (SAE) in his family’s seafood business to teach clam production from harvesting to processing. Through a video and a web-based research activity, students learn about clam processing equipment, label the external and internal anatomy of a clam, and study the developmental stages of bivalves such as scallops.
