Label It
“Label It!” is a 45-minute FFA lesson plan about poultry product labeling. Students explore current poultry labeling techniques, federal regulations governing what may appear on poultry labels, and how production practices relate to potentially misleading labels through a video, a true/false worksheet, and a label-design activity. It fits within units on animal science, food science and safety, or agricultural marketing and communications.
