Lesson 2 – Student Activity Sheets
A student worksheet packet on understanding and creating demonstrations/presentations. Part 1 is a video-based graphic organizer (using a “sandwich” metaphor for introduction, body, and conclusion) tied to the “How to Do a 4-H Presentation” video; Part 2 has students work with a partner to plan and deliver a demonstrative, informative, or persuasive demonstration, supported by a planning sheet and a scoring rubric.

- Demonstration: A type of public speaking that demonstrates to the audience how to do something. This will include steps and details. Informative: A type of public speaking that is meant to educate an audience on a particular topic or message with facts, data, statistics and researched content. Persuasive: A type of public speaking that is used to help convince an audience that the speaker has the right opinion on a particular topic based on concrete evidence.
