Lesson Plan 2 – Understanding Demonstrations

This National FFA lesson plan introduces students to demonstrations (presentations) as an entry point to public speaking. Students learn the three types of demonstrations (demonstrative, informative, persuasive) and the three parts of a presentation, then work with a partner to develop, plan, and deliver a demonstration using visual aids. The resource includes a worksheet with a graphic organizer, a planning sheet, an evaluation rubric, and an answer key.
