Lesson Plan 3 – The FFA Creed as a Speech

This National FFA Organization lesson, “The FFA Creed as a Speech,” teaches students about the history of the FFA Creed and its creator, E.M. Tiffany, and has them memorize and recite portions of the Creed in groups as a form of prepared public speaking. The lesson connects to FFA Creed Speaking leadership development events (LDEs) and includes a historical reading worksheet, analysis questions, a group memorization/presentation activity, memory games, and a presentation rubric.
