Lessons 4 and 5 – Developing Service Projects

This Substitute Teacher Guide lesson (Lessons 4 and 5 of the Personal Development 7th-9th Grade Series) guides students through developing service projects for their class or FFA chapter. Students conduct a needs assessment, brainstorm and rank service ideas, research similar projects online, develop a detailed service plan in small groups, and present their plans to the class for evaluation and selection.
