MS.15 Setting Goals
This is a National FFA Organization LifeKnowledge middle school leadership lesson (MS.15, “Setting Goals”) that teaches students how to define and write S.M.A.R.T. goals (Specific, Measurable, Approved by you, Realistic, Time-stamped). Through an interest-approach activity, note-taking, guided practice applying goals to five life areas, and discussion of why people fail to reach goals, students learn to set effective personal goals. Includes a student activity sheet, transparency masters, and an assessment with answer key.
