MS.35 Using Appropriate Language and Humor

This is a LifeKnowledge middle school lesson (MS.35) on using appropriate language and humor, part of the “Stage Two of Development—WE” unit addressing how to initiate relationships with others. Through an identity-pretending interview activity, group-based discussion, and analysis of formal/informal settings, students learn to identify appropriate language and humor and describe the positive and negative effects of language and humor choices.
