MS.4 Identifying Philosophies of Leadership

This is a National FFA “LifeKnowledge” middle school lesson (MS.4) on identifying philosophies of leadership, part of the Introduction to Leadership, Personal Growth, and Career Success unit. Students define leadership as influence and compare three leadership philosophies—authoritarian, democratic, and laissez faire. The lesson includes an interest approach, teaching strategies, role-play activities, transparency masters, an assessment, and a written test with answer key.
