MS.42 Responding to Audience Feedback

This LifeKnowledge lesson (MS.42, “Responding to Audience Feedback”) teaches middle school students how to recognize, categorize, and respond to feedback from an audience. Through a concept map, a TV/video clip analysis, classification of positive versus negative feedback, a worksheet, and a role-playing skit, students learn to examine types of feedback, identify the communication needs of various audiences, and adapt their communication to elicit positive feedback.
