MS.49 Defining Problem Solving

This is a National FFA Organization LifeKnowledge middle school lesson (MS.49, “Defining Problem Solving”) that explores the mentor/protégé relationship as a way to make things happen and solve problems. Through movie/TV clip analysis, discussion, drawing activities, and an action plan, students identify the qualities and parameters of a healthy mentor/protégé relationship and create their own action plan for working with a mentor. The lesson includes an interest approach, teaching strategies, teaching masters, activity sheets, and assessment tools with an answer key.
