MS.55 Creating Timelines

This LifeKnowledge Middle School lesson (MS.55) teaches students the fundamentals of quality communication. Students explore the three components of communication (deliver, interpret, receive), distinguish verbal from non-verbal communication, identify barriers to each, and apply these skills by developing and presenting a two-minute agricultural message. (Note: the lesson is titled “Creating Timelines,” but the front matter, objectives, and instructional content focus on communication; several appendix handouts and the assessment cover time management.)
