Kristyn Bauer – Agricultural Education SAE Student Activity Sheet (Non-Designed)

“Chicken Little” is a three-part student worksheet activity about chick embryo development. Students watch an FFA SAE video about a chicken-hatching kit business, read a Mississippi State University Extension article on the stages of chick embryo development (answering comprehension questions and drawing embryo stages), and then write a creative letter to a chick referencing developmental stages and the chick’s importance to agriculture, assessed with a provided rubric.
