Part 2: Proficiencies and Stars

This FFA lesson plan (“Section 4: Part 2 – Proficiencies and Stars”) teaches students about the types of proficiency awards, how to develop SAEs across the eight career pathways, and the four American Star award areas. Through an interactive “three doors” activity, video clips, and reading, students explore the skills, monetary value, and opportunities tied to proficiency and star awards, and learn how to use resources for SAE grants.
