Part 3: Career Leadership Development Events

This FFA lesson plan introduces students to Leadership Development Events (LDEs) and Career Development Events (CDEs) through a classroom “Olympic Games” activity in which student teams experience short, simplified versions of various LDE/CDE contests. Students define the difference between LDEs and CDEs, sample multiple events, and identify the events they would most like to pursue during their high school career.
