Part 4: Serve – Living to Serve
“Serve: Living to Serve” is a two-lesson FFA leadership resource that teaches students the difference between community service and service-learning, using the Kid President “Socktober” video as a discussion starter. Students brainstorm, evaluate, and plan their own service activities and reflect on the meaning of the FFA motto’s “Living to Serve” line. The lesson works well as an accompaniment to any LifeKnowledge unit.
