#SpeakAg Dialogues | How do we best manage our food waste?

A panel discussion from the National FFA Organization’s #SpeakAg Dialogues featuring representatives from CropLife America, Land O’Lakes, and the American Farm Bureau, who examine food waste from multiple agricultural perspectives. The speakers explore solutions including on-farm anaerobic digesters that convert manure and food waste into clean energy, gleaning and food bank donations, tax incentives and liability protections for farmers, and the challenge of consumer demand for “perfect” produce. They emphasize that no single solution exists and call on FFA members to become effective advocates who communicate agriculture’s story to consumers.
