Student Activity Sheet – Agriscience Fair Lesson 9 – Make It Short and Say Thanks

This is a four-part student worksheet from the National FFA Organization that teaches students how to write an abstract and an acknowledgement section for a formal research study. Using a movie description, a USC Libraries resource, and a video of Lupita Nyong’o’s award acceptance speech, students brainstorm abstract components, draft and finalize a research abstract, and develop an acknowledgement for their research paper.
