Student Activity Sheet – Lesson 4: Crop Production
A multi-part student activity packet on crop production and GMOs. Students draw a favorite meal and trace its raw crops, research top crops produced in their state and another state using USDA data, create a paper-slide video about a crop, study GMOs through Purdue University and Michigan State University resources, produce a GMO public service announcement, and design balanced recipe cards using the MyPlate model. A paper-slide video rubric is included for assessment.
