Student Activity Sheets – Lesson 1: World Hunger, A Growing Concern
This is a student activity packet on world hunger and food security comprised of several worksheets and rubrics. Students complete a budget simulation (“World Snapshot”) comparing the cost of food, clothing, and shelter across countries, map global undernourishment, build a hunger infographic, read and answer questions on the FAO’s four dimensions of food security, and deliver a short speech. The packet also includes scoring rubrics and a bell ringer/exit ticket worksheet.
