Student Activity Sheets – Lesson 2: Hunger in the United States
This is a multi-part student worksheet packet exploring hunger and food insecurity in the United States. Through videos, data analysis, mazes, mapping, and a 30-day budgeting simulation game, students examine food insecurity, food deserts, food access, and what they and their communities can do to combat hunger. The activities build on a prior lesson about global hunger and connect the concepts to students’ own states and communities.
