This is a student worksheet packet exploring the Agriculture, Food and Natural Resources (AFNR) Value Chain. Through a series of activities, students define economic terms and the role of consumers in a capitalist market, examine value-added agriculture and the food value chain, identify stakeholders and the seven sectors of the AFNR Value Chain, and design and evaluate innovations to support the value chain. Activities use online resources, videos, and the National FFA Organization’s AFNR Value Chain diagram.
