Sunscreen Handprints
“Sunscreen Handprints” is a hands-on station activity in which visitors apply sunscreen to their hand, press it onto black construction paper, and place it in the sun. As unprotected areas bleach out while the sunscreen handprint stays dark, students visually learn how sunscreen protects skin from UV exposure, including facts about sunscreen types and SPF.
