School Garden SAE

Sydney Weintrout and Rayland Butler, students from the Shelbyville Central FFA chapter, share their school garden project focused on vegetable production. They design a plan, select plants, and care for them to harvest produce for donation to the Salvation Army and local farmers’ markets. Despite challenges like excessive rainfall and pests, they enjoy collaborating with peers and gaining hands-on experience while contributing to their community.
