The Creation of the FFA Jacket

This quick lesson plan from the National FFA Organization has students explore how and where the FFA jacket is made by reading the article “The FFA Jacket: A Global Effect” and completing a “Track the FFA Jacket” worksheet. Students map the jacket’s journey from cotton (woven/dyed in China) to manufacturing (Vietnam and Ohio) to personalization (Universal Lettering Company in Ohio), learning about global sourcing and its impact on goods.
