Tyler Hewitt – Irrigation SAE
This FFA lesson plan, “Irrigation,” centers on a featured FFA member’s turfgrass management SAE focused on installing, maintaining, and repairing irrigation systems. Students learn about the responsibilities of irrigation technicians, examine water scarcity in agriculture, and create an infographic showing the relationship between water conservation and technology. The resource includes worksheets, an answer key, a careers extension activity, and an infographic rubric.
