X 3 Math Chart

This is a numeracy literacy strategy from the National FFA Organization called the “3 x 3 Math Chart.” After learning new math terminology, students fill a 3×3 grid with new vocabulary words and write six sentences (one for each row and each column) that describe similarities and differences among the math terms, reinforcing understanding in an agribusiness or farm business context. The resource includes an example chart with a worked sentence and a blank student worksheet.
