Caleb Peckham of the Killingly FFA chapter in Danielson, Connecticut, is the 2021 American Star in Agricultural Placement winner. His supervised agricultural experience involved being employed on his family’s dairy farm, where he fed calves, managed the calf operation, handled milking shifts, bottled milk for the farm store, and performed field work such as harvesting hay and corn silage, spreading, and planting. He reflects on how FFA taught him leadership, teamwork, and the value of his daily work.
