Jaron Black | 2026 American Star in Agricultural Placement

Jaron Black, a member of the Streator FFA Chapter in Illinois, shares his journey as an American Star in Agricultural Placement finalist. He describes his Supervised Agricultural Experiences starting on the family farm, moving into custom fertilizer application and spraying tens of thousands of acres, and eventually working in agricultural trucking. A fifth-generation farmer and third-generation FFA member, he credits his father, his advisor, and FFA for teaching him the skills, safety practices, and pride that shaped his agricultural career.
