Jose Yepez | 2026 American Star in Agribusiness

Jose Yepez, a Greenville FFA Chapter member in Texas and national finalist for the American Star in Agribusiness, describes his lawn maintenance and landscaping business that services over 100 weekly clients and completes several design-driven projects each week. He explains how the venture grew from mowing his neighbor’s lawn into an established four-person operation with specialized equipment, 3D design software, and a focus on customer service. Jose also reflects on balancing academics with entrepreneurship, the support of his family and advisors, and his plans to continue the business while pursuing a finance degree.
