Kaitlyn Hart | 2022 American Star in Agribusiness

Kaitlyn Hart of the Colquitt County FFA chapter in Moultrie, Georgia, is the 2022 American Star in Agribusiness winner for her floral company, Kate’s Blossoms, which she started as a high school sophomore. She describes growing the business from small arrangements to weddings, workshops, and designing for the Georgia Governor’s Mansion, crediting her ag teacher Adrienne Smith and her parents for their support. She also reflects on navigating the COVID-19 pandemic and learning that a successful business is built on relationships with vendors, suppliers, and clients.
