Nevin Erbsen | 2025 American Star in Agricultural Placement

Nevin Erbsen of the Eastland FFA chapter in Lanark, Illinois, is the 2025 American Star in Agricultural Placement winner. His SAE centered on his family’s dairy operation, Erbsen Holsteins, where he milked cows, managed the milking system, and helped with 800 acres of crop production, while also working with his uncle’s genetic farm raising and selling superior dairy cattle and embryos. He credits the program with teaching him time management and plans to attend Iowa State University to study Ag Systems Technology before pursuing a career in the agriculture industry.
