Peter Bliss | 2022 American Star Farmer

Peter Bliss of the Golden Valley FFA Chapter in Merced, California, is the 2022 American Star Farmer. A fourth-generation farmer, he operates a 417-acre enterprise growing Acala cotton, Monterey non-pareil almonds, and Patron wheat, and installed drip irrigation in his almond trees to cut water usage in half while increasing yields. He credits his parents, ag advisor, and FFA experiences for his success and plans to continue growing and diversifying his operation.
