3.1 Business Records and Taxes
This is an FFA agricultural education lesson (Unit 3: Business Practices, Lesson One) on business records and taxes within the context of a nursery/landscape business. Students learn the elements of business records and the national tax system, then apply those skills by completing a “Calculations” worksheet that computes subtotals, sales tax, and totals for sample landscaping orders. The resource includes a student worksheet and an answer key.
