Activity Templates – What Is Respect

This FFA lesson plan provides three short activity templates designed to teach students about respect—including respect for self, others, and property—before participating in hands-on class activities such as lab work, field trips, or working with animals. The activities (“Respect Quotes,” “The How’s and How Not’s of Showing Respect,” and “Acting Out Respect”) have students discuss the meaning of respect, identify respectful and disrespectful behaviors, and demonstrate ways of showing respect. Included worksheets provide respect quotes to cut out and distribute to student groups.
