Breanna Holbert – The Gap

“The Gap” is a 45-minute FFA personal growth lesson built around 2017-18 National FFA President Breanna Holbert’s retiring address video. Students recognize the “gaps” (differences and distances) that exist between people in their lives, school, and community, and develop a plan to bridge those gaps using kind words, thoughts, and actions. The lesson works well as a personal growth, inclusivity, and self-reflection activity and includes student worksheets and an answer key.
