Bunge Lesson 1: Sensational Soy

“Sensational Soy” is an FFA agriculture lesson that teaches students about soybeans and soybean oil and their role in the economy and everyday life as part of the Agriculture, Food and Natural Resources Value Chain. Students explore the parts and uses of soybeans, make soy plastic, analyze supply-and-demand charts, and create a short video/reel communicating the importance of soy. The resource includes a lesson plan, student activity sheets, answer key, and a grading rubric.

  • Two to three drops food coloring of choice per student
