Careers With Animals – Introduction (PowerPoint)

This is the first of six lesson plans in the “Careers with Animals” series, created by the National FFA Organization in partnership with Purdue University–Animal Sciences. It introduces students to the range of career opportunities within the animal systems career focus area and the skills needed for those careers, using AgExplorer, a Prezi presentation, a virtual field trip video, and accompanying student worksheets.

  • Internet access to play the video in real time (or embed it in a PowerPoint ahead of time) and to use the Prezi presentation
  • Computer access, ideal for students to work in pairs or small groups
