Good, Better, Best

Good, Better, Best is a numeracy strategy resource from the National FFA Organization that requires students to think of more than one way to solve a math problem. Students brainstorm multiple solution strategies, examine the process involved, and then classify the strategies as “good,” “better,” or “best.” It includes a student worksheet for recording three strategies and justifying which is best, and is suited to agricultural math concepts such as agricultural business management and construction measuring.
