HATCH a Plan

“HATCH a Plan” is a 90-minute FFA lesson plan that teaches students about the nutritional benefits of eggs and how the HATCH for Hunger program addresses food insecurity. Students watch videos, explore the HATCH website, and then work in teams to design, present, and ultimately complete a community service project for their FFA chapter, including an impact analysis. The resource includes a student worksheet (“HATCH a Plan for Service”) and an answer key.
