Lesson 4 – Sustainable Production
This is lesson 4 of 8 in the Valent USA “Sustainable Production” series, in which students learn about the importance of sustainability throughout the Agriculture, Food and Natural Resources Value Chain. Through a series of activities, students explore how producers earn “sustainably grown” recognition, research the sustainability of food ingredients, and develop and present an agricultural issues forum on sustainable agriculture. The resource includes student worksheets, a crossword, a sample script, an answer key, and a presentation rubric.
