Paraphrase
This is a literacy strategy resource from the National FFA Organization that teaches students to paraphrase text by putting another person’s ideas into their own words to support comprehension, recall, and application. It includes a worked example using the steps of lighting an oxy-acetylene torch and a reproducible student graphic organizer with “My Paraphrase” and “My Views” sections for up to four texts.
