Part 1A: The Basics – FFA Mission and Motto

This is a quick lesson plan from the National FFA Organization (Section 2: Part 1, “The Basics: FFA Mission and Motto”) that introduces students to FFA basics, traditions, and the meaning behind the FFA mission statement and motto. Through an interest approach and three activities, students explore the three mission components (Premier Leadership, Personal Growth, Career Success), interpret the four-line FFA motto via a comic strip, and connect the mission and motto to their own lives as members. Includes supporting handouts such as FFA Mission Components, Mission Descriptors, and a Motto Comic Strip template.
