Part 1B: The Basics – FFA Salute
“The Basics: FFA Salute” is a quick FFA lesson plan (Section 2: Part 1) in which students interpret the meaning of the FFA salute (the Pledge of Allegiance) and identify ways to serve their local communities. Through an interest approach, a pictograph/collage activity using the Pledge, and a group community-service planning activity, students explore citizenship and FFA traditions. It works well as an introduction to FFA basics and FFA traditions.
