Ridge Hughbanks – Let’s Get to Work
“Let’s Get to Work” is an FFA lesson plan built around 2018-19 National FFA Central Region Vice President Ridge Hughbanks’ retiring address, in which he discusses how hard work and resiliency are key to leadership and self-care. Students watch the video, complete activity worksheets (including analysis of the poem “Invictus”), and plan their own self-care activities. The lesson emphasizes mental health awareness and the importance of resiliency.
