Team Agriculture

This is a 30-minute FFA lesson plan in which students watch a video of John Tyson discussing Tyson Foods’ relationship with farmers, then identify shared values and reflect on their own reasons for being passionate about agriculture. Using the “Team Agriculture!”/”Team Farmer!” worksheet, students record points from the video, write their own interests in agriculture, and discuss them with a partner. It works as a supplement to an ag communications, ag leadership, or introduction to agriculture course, or as a class opener.
