Think Aloud
A literacy strategy resource created by the National FFA Organization that uses “Think Aloud” bookmarks to help students model and develop their cognitive/thought processes. The bookmark provides sentence starters (e.g., “I predict…,” “I learned…,” “I wonder…”) that students respond to verbally or in writing while reading text, learning new information, or applying concepts.
