Poultry Processing

This lesson plan, part of the National FFA Organization and U.S. Poultry and Egg Association curriculum series, teaches students about commercial poultry meat processing. Students learn the steps and equipment used in processing, the layout of a poultry processing facility, and the requirements of packaging labels through a video, worksheets, hands-on activities, and an FFA/SAE career development connection.
